Sunida Mejia is a personal injury attorney based in Houston, Texas. She is passionate about being the voice and legal advocate for clients who have been seriously injured and families who have lost loved ones because of someone else’s negligence. She provides clients with compassionate, aggressive, and diligent representation to get the best possible outcome for them during some of their most difficult and worst times.
Sunida received her Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science with a minor in Chemistry from Baylor University. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2009. While in law school, she also studied French and European Union law at La Sorbonne-Université de Paris II in Paris, France.
Prior to joining The Mejia Law Firm, PLLC, she zealously represented clients in a wide spectrum of legal matters in white collar criminal litigation, civil litigation, internal investigations, and grand jury investigations in both state and federal courts.
Sunida handles all aspects of personal injury litigation. Sunida is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Sunida is also a certified mediator. She is trilingual and speaks English, French and Thai.
When not practicing law, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, experiencing new adventures, learning about other cultures, and volunteering in the community.
